Users with Sysop privileges can edit the links on the sidebar at MediaWiki:Sidebar. Just follow the syntax. I just added User:Brylow as a sysop... see Special:Listusers for list of all privs. Phinze 11:29, 24 May 2007 (CDT)

Okay I've installed a very basic RSS Reader. With this tag:

http://xinu.mscs.mu.edu/trac/timeline?milestone=on&ticket=on&changeset=on&max=10&daysback=14&format=rss
 |http://xinu.mscs.mu.edu/wiki/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&feed=rss

we get this output:
http://xinu.mscs.mu.edu/trac/timeline?milestone=on&ticket=on&changeset=on&wiki=on&max=10&daysback=14&format=rss%7Chttp://xinu.mscs.mu.edu/wiki/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&feed=rss
Still way too ugly to go on front page, but it's a start. I've removed the banner announcing the release of Embedded XINU 1.0. If we decide to place a similar banner up top for Embedded XINU 1.x or 2.0, the code is below.

{| class="messagebox" style="background-color: #cfc"
|-
| style="font-size:20px; color: green; font-weight: bold;" | Embedded XINU Version 1.0 Released
|-
| The venerable [[XINU]] operating system has been used in classrooms, research labs, and commercial
development firms for nearly a quarter of a century. Reimplemented in ANSI standard C, targeted to a
modern RISC architecture, and optimized for resource-scarce embedded systems, Embedded XINU is rested,
relaxed, and ready to go for the next quarter century.
Get it in the [[Downloads]] section.
